Putting the Audé in audacious Dave Audé

PALM SPRINGS -- Like many dance music DJs, I have my own list of favorite music producers whose remixes I instinctively gravitate towards, and Grammy nominee Dave Audé is most certainly among them.

His powerfully uplifting remixes consistently remind me just how great dance music can be. Audé has spent a lifetime perfecting his craft and his success is a direct reflection on his dedication to electronic dance music. I spoke with Dave via telephone to talk about his career, his Grammy nomination, and to discuss his thoughts on the current state of dance music.

There is really no sense in arguing what a cultural phenomenon "RuPaul’s Drag Race" has become for Logo – for both the ‘mos and hets who tune in religiously to watch.

The Hazel-Eyed Hatchet Man: Former critic Rex Reed is as sharp as ever

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -- It’s been a little more than 42 years since Time reporter Carey Winfrey gave Rex Reed the moniker, “The Hazel-Eyed Hatchet Man” while writing an article about Reed’s rise to fame (or infamy, as the case may be, depending on who you speak to) in the late 60’s. And while his dark locks may have turned silver with the passage of time, his rapier wit, biting commentary and sparkling eyes haven’t dulled in the slightest over the years.
