PALM DESERT -- When Arlene Rosenthal founded the non-profit organization OperaArts two years ago, she wanted to build a grassroots organization that would appeal to people, regardless of background, experience, or economics.

People hungry for some exposure to opera, culture and fine arts that was affordable and democratic.

She created a consortium of individuals from the community and a diverse board filled with older valley residents and younger professional residents that could represent the desires of all valley citizens and help create compelling programming.

There is really no sense in arguing what a cultural phenomenon "RuPaul’s Drag Race" has become for Logo – for both the ‘mos and hets who tune in religiously to watch.

RuPaul has become the queen with a Midas touch these days and there’s no end in sight for her worldwide drag domination. This summer already saw a successful spin off called, RuPaul’s Drag U, which proved very amusing.

Monday, Jan. 24, marked the premiere of season three with new episodes premiering every Monday at 10 pm on the Logo channel.
