NEW YORK – The women of “The View” debated the shower issue involving the Pentagon’s survey of the military regarding possible repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.

Guest Clay Aiken also weighed in on the issue.

The women took sides on the issue along the usual fault lines, with Whoppi Goldberg and Joy Behar calling the shower issue a silly distraction. Aiken, who is openly gay, agreed with them.
