During a special live taping of "The Rachel Maddow Show," Lt. Col. Victor Fehrenbach, West Point cadet Katie Miller, Major Mike Almy and Capt. Jonathan Hopkins joined Maddow on stage to discuss the long fought battle to repeal DADT.

After a video montage that included commentary from some of the biggest players on both sides of the issue, Maddow repeated, "they said it couldn't be done" several times as her audience cheered before introducing her guests.

Maddow explains she asks each of them to join her on stage for the leadership and sacrifices they each made to help repeal DADT.

The panel discusses their own feelings of disbelief that it is has in fact been revealed, their own feelings, and what it was like to come out during their service, and in some cases discharged because of their sexual orientation.
