SAN DIEGO -- To raise money needed for its work, Stepping Stone of San Diego will host its third annual Mission Bay Cruise on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 4 to 8 pm.

Tickets for the event, which organizers are calling a "spectacular dinner cruise," are now available. Proceeds from the event will help Stepping Stone continue its 35-year tradition of providing services related to alcohol and drug addiction for members of the LGBT community.

Participants will cruise around Mission Bay on the William D. Evans sternwheeler boat and dine on a four-course meal served by the Bahia Hotel Resort. A silent auction, entertainment, and inspirational programming will also be included.

Along with raising funds for the organization, Stepping Stone says that it also organizes the event to bring together members of the revcovery community and its supporters, hoping that the entire community will join in.

Tickets for the Mission Bay Cruise are $75 per person, with tables of 10 sold for $700.
