NEW YORK -- The red-hot actor Cheyenne Jackson, one of the stars of FilmOut SanDiego's Closing Night selection, "The Green," has announced on Twitter than he has married his longtime partner, Dr. Monte Lapka.
"Married the best man I've ever known," Jackson tweeted, while posting a picture of the newlyweds (seen at right) wearing white and standing on a Long Island beach.
The couple, who have been together for 11 years, brought along their pet for the beach wedding.
"Something small. My dream wedding involves just close friends and good music," Jackson said in a 2010 interview with NBC New York. "Our dog would be there. Our dog, our daughter, Zora. ... Pretty boring, but something just nice and on the beach."
The 36-year-old Jackson has a recurring role on "Glee" as the coach of the rival choral group Vocal Adrenaline and on "30 Rock." Just last Sunday night he had a guest appearance on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" with Larry David, playing a fitness coach.
New York legalized marriage equality in June.
