Volunteers needed for AIDS Walk & Run San Diego

SAN DIEGO -- While thousands of walkers and runners come together each year in support of AIDS Walk & Run San Diego, its takes an army of volunteers to make the day happen.

Nearly 800 volunteers are needed this year to help with a number of tasks on the day of the event and in advance, including site set-up, route monitors, walk registration volunteers, and pre-event phone banking.

Volunteers are needed to make calls every Wednesday night from 6-9 pm up until event day to encourage community members to register and garner support for the event, which raises funds for local HIV/AIDS service providers.

Those who wish to volunteer in advance of the event or on the day of should click HERE or call Jerry Tomaszewicz at 619-692-2077 ext. 202.
