VIDEO: Lesbian comedian Sarah Burford says DADT discharge still hurts 15 years later

SAN DIEGO – DOD FED GLOBE has released this video featuring lesbian comedian Sarah Burford, who was discharged from the Navy for being a lesbian.

Although the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” discharge happened 15 years ago, the pain of having her whole world turned upside down is still very real, Burford said.
