Tupperware party to raise money for Alzheimer's Association

SAN DIEGO -- Anita Longhorn, San Diego's "Sassiest Tupperware Lady," will host a special Tupperware party at Mosaic Wine Bar on Sunday, Oct. 21, to raise money in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

Longhorn will be joined by Bea Cornejo and her team team of "pepsteppers" to host the party, which she says "ain't your grandma's Tupperware party!"

Harvest Howl to benefit LGBT youth housing

SAN DIEGO -- Tickets are available for the seventh annual Harvest Howl, a fundraiser for The San Diego LGBT Community Center's Youth Housing Project (YHP), taking place Thursday, Oct. 25.

The event, which will place at Top of the Park, is organized each year by MARYAH - Metro Area Real Estate Professionals for Young Adult Housing.

The event will include food from a over a dozen local restaurants, a hosted bar during the first hour, live entertainment, a silent auction and prizes.
