Resource revamped for those coming out as straight supporters of LGBT community

WASHINGTON – The Human Rights Campaign Foundation and its Coming Out Project, in partnership with PFLAG National (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), the original family and ally organization, and its Straight for Equality project, today released a comprehensive update of Coming Out as a Straight Supporter.

San Diego Pride makes large contribution to The Center at annual gala

SAN DIEGO – San Diego Pride presented The San Diego LGBT Community Center with a $30,000 donation at a black-tie gala Saturday night at the Hilton Bayfront.

The ceremonial check was presented by Pride's executive director Dwayne Crenshaw at The Center's 39th anniversary gala, noting the success of the 2012 Pride celebration, "America's Pride," which made it possible for such a large cash contribution to be handed out.
