The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club horse racing season is well underway, and by now we’ve all enjoyed our fair share of high fashion, skilled betting, and free concerts under the stars. If you’re looking for a new way to celebrate Del Mar lifestyle with less chaos and more class, join me in taking the high road at the Park Hyatt Aviara. The resort’s signature spa is offering a Del Mar Trifecta Spa Experience, available now through the end of the summer season.
Park Hyatt Aviara is the 2011 Preferred Hotel of the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, and in addition to themed spa specials, it is the first and only property to offer resort guests exclusive Del Mar Turf Club packages. But before we head back to where the turf meets the surf, it’s time to get pampered.
The Del Mar Trifecta Spa Experience is a trio of mini treatments that will revive the face and body for glowing skin from head to toe. The package includes a 25-minute facial ritual, 25-minute massage ritual, and a 25-minute summer scrub. Unique to Aviara Spa, all of the “bespoke” rituals are custom tailored for each client, including your personal choice of products and techniques. Choose kiwi and pomegranate, lemon and lavender, or chamomile and honey for your deep cleansing facial; and deep tissue, dry brushing or aromatherapy for your massage. The package is available for $225 now through Monday, September 5 (regularly $270).
Aviara offers one of the most luxurious spa retreats in San Diego, and you must explore all the property has to offer, including the newly renovated fitness center and indoor solarium lounge, complete with whirlpools, sauna and steam rooms to your liking. For the ultimate experience, bring your special someone and upgrade to the Wellness Couples Journey in the Couples Suite, which features a private indoor and outdoor lounge, indoor fireplace, outdoor heated pool, and indoor Swiss shower. The Wellness package includes two 80-minute massage rituals, two 80-minute facial rituals, two 50-minute body scrubs, and an organic spa lunch for two.
