This year Halloween falls on a Monday, which means we have a full week of outrageous costumes, extraordinary parties, sinful cocktails and sweet treats. If you thought Halloween was contained to one night of innocent trick-or-treating, you obviously haven’t partied with the devilishly determined ghouls and goblins of San Diego nightlife.

San Diego offers the same coveted Southern California lifestyle perks of Los Angeles, without the Hollywood dirt and drama. 75-degree weather, flawless beaches, swanky resorts, posh nightclubs and luxury spas all served on a silver platter, sans paparazzi wars. While many celebrities prefer jet-setting off to remote tropical islands, their busy schedules don’t always allow for such a lavish escape. San Diego’s close proximity to L.A. makes it an ideal staycation out of the scene. But if privacy is the goal, stars don’t exactly announce their arrival on Twitter.

Following an ultra-glam weekend of star-watching and cinematic adventure during the San Diego Film Festival, we now get back to our roots with a laidback lineup of local foodie events, fashion shows, cultural festivals and wild club nights.

Kelly Osbourne has completely reinvented her image, from rebellious youth to poised professional. In embracing her newfound passion for fashion, Kelly has blossomed into an up-and-coming style expert who is now a fan favorite on E!’s hit show “Fashion Police” along with Joan Rivers, Guiliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos.
