FLUXX persistently brings the heat to the San Diego nightlife scene. From daring themes like Aquatic, celebrity hosts like the recent Ronnie Magro, and indie bands rocking out live on stage, it’s an ever-changing conglomeration of a club. Sunday Funday Pool Pass at Loews Coronado Bay Resort

Loews Coronado Bay Resort & Spa is celebrating the end of summer with a new locals-only Sunday Funday promotion. Remember: 9/11 Heroes Run

Although the tragedies of September 11th occurred ten years ago, the painful memories of the attack on our nation still remain close in our hearts and minds. As time passes, we continue to remember and honor our fallen heroes.

The Travis Manion Foundation unites the country each year with the 9/11 Heroes Run, where devoted runners participate in the early morning workout to ensure we never forget the sacrifices on and since September 11, 2001. The 9/11 Heroes Run will take place in San Diego this year at the Mission Trails Regional Park at 8am.

Skrillex at Petco Park Sept. 22

Electronic dance music was once heard only in the edgiest of nightclubs and exclusive after-hours warehouse parties. Having grown up in Encinitas, I can attest there were few summer days when I was not swimsuit-clad, discovering the beauty of nature at local beaches from sunrise to sunset.
