GLAAD's What To Watch this weekend

On Friday catch the return of Captain Jack Harkness in a new season of Torchwood: Miracle Day. Matt Lucas and David Walliams let their imagination fly with new characters on Come Fly With Me this Saturday. And on Sunday, The Real L Word’s Kacy and Cori are still trying to get pregnant.

What to Watch: Friday, July 8

9:00 pm: Primetime: What Would You Do?, ABC (1 hr) NEW

Two drag queens (including a former Drag Race contestant) are harassed by a waiter in New Jersey and are asked to leave the coffee shop. Watch how patrons will react.

9:30 pm: Masterpiece Mystery!, PBS (1.5 hrs) REPEAT

Hercule Poirot and Ariadne Oliver investigate a drowning at a Halloween Party. There’s a small lesbian subplot but that’s all we can say.

10:00 pm: Torchwood: Miracle Day, Starz (1 hr) SEASON PREMIERE

Remaining Torchwood agents Gwen Cooper and Captain Jack Harkness make their triumphant return in this highly anticipated new season of the UK sci-fi hit.  The planet has gone haywire with the sudden revelation that no one can die, while the previously unkillable Jack realizes he’s become quite mortal.  How it plays out is anyone’s guess, but we do know it involves Jack kissing cute bartenders and Gwen blowing up a helicopter.

What to Watch: Saturday, July 9

8:30 pm: Come Fly With Me, BBC America (30 mins) NEW

Matt Lucas and David Walliams play over 50 characters in this comedy set in an airport terminal. One of them is out flight attendant Fearghal O’Farrell, who works for Our Lady Air and comes from a long line of stewards.

9:30 pm: Color Splash, HGTV (30 mins) NEW

Interior Designer David Bromstad is inspired by the tropical color palette of a botanical garden to create a sunroom and living room.

What to Watch: Sunday, July 10

9:00 pm: True Blood, HBO (1 hr) NEW

Sookie visits Alcide and reconnects with him. Meanwhile, Bill counsels Jessica and punishes an errant vampire.

9:00 pm: The Glee Project, Oxygen (1 hr) NEW

This week’s assignment is Dance Ability. Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike Chang on Glee) guest stars and looks for the most comfortable and confident dancer, not necessarily the best one.

10:00 pm: The Real L Word, Showtime (1 hr) NEW

Whitney and Alyssa use their makeup skills to help Cori and Kacy inseminate as the two face a pregnancy timing problem.
