Gay British comedian wins "Celebrity Big Brother"

LONDON -- Gay comic Julian Clary has won "Celebrity Big Brother."

The much-loved camp comedian stormed to victory in the British reality program, which features 13 celebrities living together, competing in tasks, and nominating each other for eviction.

Beating TV presenter Coleen Nolan, Spandau Ballet singer Martin Kemp and "Jersey Shore" star The Situation, in the final, he said: "You have made a 53-year-old homosexual very happy."

The comic has been a household name in Britain since the 1980s, forging a successful career in comedy, television and radio.
