VIDEO: The Gay Guide to "Glee," Season 2 Episode 2, “Britney/Brittany”

There must be a term in the world of sports fandom for the disquieting and eerily nostalgic feeling one gets when watching one’s beloved team recklessly foul their very first play in the game immediately subsequent to an early season victory. In French, we call this, A la recherche du temps perdu. In the glamorous world of automotive journalism, we call it the “Oh Shit” moment: the perilous instant in which you realize that you’ve lost control of something at speed.

That moment will occur in tonight’s episode.

The show’s co-creator, Steve Levitan, said this summer that the kiss was always planned at that the Facebook campaign was unnecessary.

THEATER REVIEW: Disturbing “Notes From Underground” spurs audience walkouts

SAN DIEGO -- Wallowing in the depths of anger, loneliness and self-loathing is not something most of us would choose as a lifestyle, or even for an evening in the theater.

But that’s just what we have in the Bill Camp/Robert Woodruff adaptation of Dostoevsky’s 1864 novella “Notes From Underground.”

First presented at Yale Repertory Theatre, “Notes From Underground” plays through Oct. 17 at La Jolla Playhouse. Woodruff directs.

As disturbing a piece as I’ve seen in many years, this production may set a record for audience walkouts.
