SAN DIEGO -- San Diego’s renowned craft-beer scene may have boomed in recent years, but the history behind that local craft-brew culture is just as rich as its resurgence.

To celebrate the past, present and future of San Diego’s beer culture, the San Diego History Center (SDHC) located at 1649 El Prado in Balboa Park has declared 2013 the “Year of Craft Beer.”

Valentine’s Day is here, or as some like to call it, Singles Awareness Day. So, in honor of this romantic holiday, I've compiled a little guide to some of the many Valentine themed event going on around the gayborhood today:

3 pm: Valentine’s Day Dinner at the Range - “Wanna take the boo out for Valentine's or just treat yourself cuz you deserve it? Chef Jacob has whipped up something special.”

SAN DIEGO – This Valentine’s Day, San Diegans are invited to a wedding and they don’t even have to bring a gift!

Laughing Tree Productions will present its original production of “Once Upon A Wedding,” a musical-comedy dinner experience at the Lafayette Hotel in North Park on Feb. 14 and 15.

The show includes an evening complete with food, music, dancing and interactive entertainment, featuring hit songs from the 1950s to today – and is fun for the entire family.

Super Bowl weekend is here! This means Super Bowl parties, and the local gay clubs will have them aplenty this Sunday!
