VIDEO: Make plans now to attend Pride in Sedona, Ariz.

SEDONA, Ariz. -- Those looking for a weekend getaway while celebrating LGBT Pride are encouraged to make plans now to attend the third annual Sedona Gay Pride celebration on Sept. 16-17.

This year's event is being called "Pride on the Rocks" and will include a festival, parties and other celebrations hosted at the Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa.

Nevada Commission on Tourism creates website for LGBT community

CARSON CITY, Nev. -- The Nevada Commission on Tourism (NCOT) has launched a website to meet the needs of the LGBT community, considered an increasingly lucrative and vibrant market within the travel industry.

The site, gay.travelnevada.com, offers information on LGBT-featured events, as well as information on Nevada's hotels, shows and amenities.
