In 1969 the LGBT movement took giant steps towards developing an identity and articulating a demand for equality. In conjunction with San Diego's LGBT PRIDE festival week, San Diego Alliance for Marriage Equality (SAME), Canvass for a Cause, and the Peace Resource Center are presenting 'OUTRAGE '69' a KQED documentary on the events leading up to the Stonewall riots and other events. The film will be followed by a discussion of the history presented and how activism plays a role today. Light refreshments will be available.
