FlawLes Media and Events, the San Diego-based business striving to increase equality as a corollary to their mission of increasing the visibility of the LGBT community has established a business partnership with Curve, the nation's best-selling lesbian magazine, in their 20th anniversary year of circulation.
After more than two decades of publishing, Curve magazine has achieved a level of prominence that holds the publication as the seminal and unrivaled standard. They were named "Best Gay and Lesbian Publication" by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and have been featured on the Showtime series The L Word .
Curve is owned by Avalon Media, which was founded by Silke Bader in 1998. Avalon Media published Bound (the international lesbian magazine no longer in print), and continues to produce LOTL (formerly Lesbians on the Loose), Australia's premier lesbian free-to-street magazine.
A FlawLes and Curve partnership symbolizes a combined effort between original and creative thinkers, who together, harness the power to create radically engaging events for the lesbian community on a global scale.
