It’s that time of year again. The 23rd annual Shark Week is upon us and the thrills are as biting as ever. It’s no wonder we go wild about this time-honored television event. After months of withstanding real housewife charades, TV viewers are finally treated to a primal predator panic-fest.

There’s a lot of film-geek butter gushing over director Christopher Nolan’s fresh-popped summer movie, Inception. I went to a matinee this week, not because I’m a big fan of Nolan’s previous works (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Memento) and not because I’m even remotely interested in heist, sci-fi, espionage thrillers (I’ve never even seen The Matrix). To be clear, I was unilaterally in attendance to see my foxy silver screen sweetheart, Ellen Page, in action.

What do you call two homos who have been best friends for years but have never, ever hooked up?

“Liars!” Good answer, good answer.

Why is it that every homo in Whoville and their red blooded homo best pal have made out with each other at least once? (On purpose or by accident.) How many of us have grabbed the arm of our besty when it’s time for introductions and proclaimed, “This is my best friend—well, we dated for a sec [LESBIANS READ: two years] but we’ve been best friends forever!”?
