SAN DIEGO – Councilmembers Todd Gloria and Marti Emerald invite all San Diegans to participate in Neighborhood Beat this Saturday, June 30, from 9 to 11 am at Joyce Beers Community Center, 3900 Vermont St. in Hillcrest.

Neighborhood Beat is a free citywide community CPR program done in partnership with Rural/Metro, the City’s emergency medical services provider, and participants will also learn how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

Training lasts about 30 minutes and will begin at 9 and 10 am. RSVPs are requested and should be directed to Councilmember Gloria’s office, 619-236-6633 or toddgloria@sandiego.gov.
