Board and staff members of San Diego LGBT Pride are seeking community input regarding entertainment and other highlights for next year's Pride festival, to be discussed at a town hall meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 6.

"The planning process for Pride weekend begins early each year, so everyone is encouraged to attend and share ideas," said Pride Board Co-Chair Judi Schaim. Other points on the meeting agenda will include updates on Pride's ongoing search for an executive director as well as the organization's recent audit, which has been completed.

Schaim adds that more town hall meetings will be scheduled in the first half of 2011 leading up to next year's Pride weekend, scheduled for July 16 and 17.

In other news, San Diego Pride has teamed up with Vons for a holiday food and toy drive to assist families in need. Drop offs are scheduled around San Diego in the coming weeks. Visit the Pride web site for dates and locations, at San Diego Pride.
