Women’s Fest 2012 will take place Saturday, April 28, 10am-5pm, at The Center, 3909 Centre St. in Hillcrest.

Women’s Fest is a day-long festival of workshops, entertainment and resources for all women and their allies. The goal of this free festival is to empower women to cultivate new skills, celebrate women’s creativity, build a stronger community and gain access to essential health resources. This year’s festival will focus on empowering women to stronger and more influential in their own lives and communities. The goal of the event is to present a space where all women can come together and engage in heart-to-heart conversations about their needs and desires for themselves and their communities and where strategies for social change can emerge.
