SAN DIEGO _ The two gay men who died in a murder-suicide late last week have been identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

They are Eric B. Schulthise, 40, and Robert Paul Agnew, 41, both of San Diego.

City police found the bodies Friday afternoon in an apartment in the 3700 block of Wilson Avenue.

The Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled that Schulthise died of multiple gunshot wounds and that Agnew’s death was a suicide.

The time and date of the shootings have not been established by investigators, although a neighbor told authorities that he had heard gunshots early Thursday morning.
