SDGLN Poll: Readers think marriage equality will be next nationwide win for LGBT Americans

SAN DIEGO – A plurality of readers of San Diego Gay & Lesbian News who took our poll say that they believe that marriage equality will be the next nationwide victory for LGBT Americans.

Our poll question was: The next LGBT nationwide victory will involve: Marriage equality, Employment Non-Discrimination Act, Immigration equality, Transgender equality or Anti-gay bullying?

The results, which are not scientific, reveal that 49% of readers think that the next nationwide victory will involve marriage equality, 24% said Employment Non-Discrimination Act, 19% said anti-gay bullying and 8% said immigration equality. Nobody believed that transgender equality would be the next big win.

The SDGLN Reader Poll is open for voting for seven consecutive days. A new poll question will debut each Monday.

This week’s poll question asks readers: Vice President Joe Biden supports marriage equality. Will President Barack Obama fully evolve on the issue?
