Voting in the San Diego mayoral race continues through 8 tonight in the city, but SDGLN closed its poll at 5:30 pm as a reminder to get out and vote.

Voters are deciding a hotly contested mayoral race in which two of the four candidates are gay or lesbian.

Readers of San Diego Gay & Lesbian News who took our poll favor the lone Democrat in the race: Bob Filner.

Our poll question was: Who will you vote for June 5 in San Diego's mayoral race?

The results, which are not scientific, reveal that 40% of readers plan to vote for Bob Filner, 29% will vote for Nathan Fletcher, 21% will vote for Carl DeMaio and 11% will vote for Bonnie Dumanis.
