Grindr is an all-male mobile social network that helps gay, bi and curious guys who wish to find a date, old friends or even just some like-minded new friends on the social scene, all within close, physical proximity.

This is online dating in an instant. Your next date may be literally just around the corner, waiting for you.

Using GPS-based technology, Grindr can determine your exact location and then rapidly offer you the location of other available users nearby. You can use it locally or while on a business or pleasure trip, to instantly find guys nearby to interact and chat with.

Based in Los Angeles, Grindr offers profiles, photos, stats and more and is currently available on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android and Blackberry platforms. The service is free, but there is also a paid subscription upgrade service version called Grindr Xtra that offers expanded features.
