SAN DIEGO -- College fraternities have often been perceived by many as organizations that are not necessarily welcoming to gay men. While that is not always the case, one fraternity exists to specifically welcome gay, bisexual and progressive men -- Delta Lambda Phi (DLP).

SAN DIEGO -- The Center's popular social game night for men will return Wednesday night.

"Guys, Games & Grub" is a monthly social event, held on the first Wednesday, which typically draws more than 200 men to The Center's auditorium for an evening of games, pizza, drinks and socializing.

The free event is open to all men ages 21 years and older, and organizers say "some of San Diego's most interesting men" will be there, so it is an event not to be missed.

Guys, Games & Grub begins at 6:30 pm at The Center, 3909 Centre St. in Hillcrest.

SAN DIEGO -- Following its successful "Olé! Olé! Olé!" concert, the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus (SDGMC) will welcome prospective singers and volunteers at the next chorus information night, to be held Monday, April 23, at 7 pm.

Those interested in auditioning or working with the chorus are welcome to participate in the evening’s festivities, which will include food, prizes and fun surprises. Attendees will also be able to get information on auditions for the summer 2012 concert season.

I never really had much of a desire to go to the annual White Party in Palm Springs. Known by many as the ‘holiest of all gay parties,’ with producer Jeffrey Sanker called "the high priest of gay parties" by some, it all seemed a bit much for me.

Twenty-two years ago, Sanker decided to throw a big gay party in the desert that over the years has been built into the party to base all other parties on. Gays give up Easter to go to the White Party!
