SAN DIEGO – Popular local singer-songwriter Chris Hassett has released “December,” a Christmas CD that includes original and traditional holiday music.

“December,” the title song, is one of Hassett’s original tunes and is about celebrating the joy of the season in a quiet manner with family.

Hassett also wrote “Take Time For A New God,” about his loss of a loved one to AIDS, and “Little Yellow House,” about having to short-sell his home during a tough economy.
