SAN DIEGO -- The fate of the proposed Hillcrest Pride Flag project will be decided upon by the San Diego City Council at its 2:30 pm meeting on Tuesday, May 15.

Community members are being encouraged by project organizers to express their support of the proposal to the council via email, by attending the meeting, or both.

SAN DIEGO -- Community members are being rallied to attend the next meeting of the City of San Diego's Planning Commission on Thursday, April 26, where the panel is expected to vote on whether or not to recommend the Hillcrest Pride Flag project to the City Council.

Public input needed at San Diego Redistricting Commission's final two meetings

SAN DIEGO -- The final set of scheduled meetings of the City of San Diego Redistricting Commission will be held Monday, Aug. 22, and Thursday, Aug. 25.

The commission is responsible for drawing the boundaries of San Diego's City Council districts, a map that will be in place for the next 10 years.

Carving out space for a new ninth council district was an additional challenge that this year's commission faced.
