TONIGHT: Lesbian author Rayna Gangi to sign books at Gossip Grill

SAN DIEGO -- Well-known lesbian author Rayna Gangi will return to Gossip Grill tonight for a book signing.

Gangi will greet her legion of fans and sign autographs for those who purchase her books. The book signing will be from 6-9 tonight at Gossip Grill in Hillcrest.

Mo's Universe launches Young Mo's Being gAy to raise money for Hillcrest Youth Center

SAN DIEGO -- To benefit the important organizations, charities and groups that serve San Diego’s LGBT community, the Mo’s Universe family of restaurants has created Young Mo’s Being gAy (YMBA), a new employee-giving program.

The goal of employees of Mo’s Universe-branded restaurants – Urban Mo’s, Baja Betty’s, Gossip Grill and Hillcrest Brewing Company – is to raise $20,000 in the first year of the program for the Hillcrest Youth Center (HYC), which has been selected as the inaugural beneficiary.

Meet Rayna Gangi, lesbian author, Holistic Health consultant, healer

SAN DIEGO – Lesbian author Rayna Gangi will speak to her fans and sign books on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Gossip Grill in Hillcrest.

Gangi has been visiting Southern California for days, and made an appearance on Oct. 13 at the annual Pride @ the Beach! festival in Oceanside.

For more than 30 years, Gangi has been a Holistic Health consultant on alternative medicine, and she is a certified and licensed massage therapist and reflexologist.

She travels the country educating, teaching, speaking and selling her many books, which include historical fiction typically with lesbian heroines.

San Diego Pride seeking board members

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego LGBT Pride will host a meet and greet for community members interested in learning more about being on the organization's board of directors. The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 13 from 6-8 pm at Gossip Grill.

The board of directors holds the overall fiduciary responsibility for the organization which produces the annual San Diego LGBT Pride Parade, Festival, and other activities. The full board meets monthly, with some other responsibilities year round.
