Year-end review: Hillcrest Business Association reflects on a successful 90th year

SAN DIEGO -- As we take a moment to look back on the HBA's 90th birthday, we realize that business leaders in Hillcrest have been so busy with exciting neighborhood projects that they barely had an opportunity to blow out the candles on their own cake.

This holiday season brings a close to one of the most productive and energizing years the HBA has experienced. The close of 2011 marks the end of a year long birthday celebration.

WEDNESDAY: Hillcrest Business Association mixer to discuss parking issues

SAN DIEGO – Anyone who lives in, works, or visits Hillcrest knows that parking in the area can be challenging – and it is not a new problem. For years, community leaders, business owners and neighborhood groups have griped about the lack of available spots, or at least the limited number of spaces that are available near the core business district.
