EDINBURGH, Scotland -- Scottish police are appealing for witnesses after a gay man’s jaw was broken in Edinburgh city center over the weekend.
The attack happened in the early hours of Sunday morning on Waverley Bridge. The 24-year-old victim was walking with friends in the area just after midnight.
They were confronted by three men who began shouting homophobic comments.
The attack echoes a similar incident in September, when a 20-year-old man’s jaw was also broken.
