This Saturday, SDPIX will present GFAB WTF at Rich's, with DJ Nikno and DJ Taj in the main room, and DJ Vaughn Avakian in the front room.

The special guest host is none other than YouTube sensation Sweet Brown (”ain’t nobody got time for that!”):

As you know, WTF parties at Rich's are one of the most popular (and crazy!) nights on the club calendar, and the madness lasts into after hours until 4 am. I think we have time for that!

SAN DIEGO -- Everybody loves Hillcrest but one of the chief complaints that business owners, neighborhood groups and community leaders in the area hear is about a lack of parking - whether it be perceived or real.

On Thursday, the Hillcrest Business Association (HBA) and Uptown Community Parking District hosted a high-profile launch of ParkHillcrest, a program that has been created to make parking and getting around the neighborhood easier. The program includes a parking website and smart phone app, as well as a free neighborhood trolley shuttle.

DJ John Joseph is a 31-year-old San Diego native who is very popular on the local circuit. He became so popular here that he now regularly performs at nightclubs and special events across the country.

Joseph can regularly be seen spinning at Rich's San Diego, Urban Mo's, Flicks, 1202 and Numbers in San Diego, as well as Hulas (Hawaii) and The Abbey West Hollywood.

When did you start spinning, and why?

Karma continues to smile on Hillcrest DJ John Joseph. His growing popularity has gotten some nice out-of-town gigs lately, including Angel Bonilla’s WTF Military Party up at the Shark Club in Orange County this Friday, and then later next month he’s off to Hula’s in Waikiki, Hawaii (nice!), to spin their big Spring Break Blackout Underwear Party.
