First, there was the end of midnight marathon towing, a story reported by SDGLN on Monday. Just goes to show what can be accomplished if you simply ignore the bitter naysayers, and press on until victory is obtained.

Tonight (Thursday), Baja Betty's will be presenting its third installment of Drive By Drag. Come support your favorite Mo's and Baja Betty's employees as they put on a drag show you'll have to see to believe.

Luis Perez is a popular local DJ who has built a strong following, leading him to have regular gigs at local nightspots such as Rich's and Eden. Recently finding a new opportunity on the East Coast, Perez and his partner will start a new chapter in their lives in New York City, moving there in May. Perez celebrated his departure this past weekend with one of his final local appearances at Rich's Dirty Pop on Friday, and a celebration with friends at Rich's on Saturday.

Urban Mo's, Hillcrest's popular restaurant/bar and flagship of the Chris Shaw family of entertainment venues (which also includes Baja Betty's, Gossip Grill and the soon-to-open Hillcrest Brewery) will be celebrating its 20th anniversary tonight (Thursday)!
