Seth Walsh was a 13-year-old boy who faced a daily gantlet of bullying at his school in Tehachapi, Calif. His mother, through a veil of tears, explains how her son was constantly taunted and harassed even outside the school – and how she found him hanging from a tree in the family’s backyard. Seth would die days later after life-support measures proved unsuccessful.

Pre-marathon midnight towing comes to an end in Hillcrest

SAN DIEGO -- An annual 12:01 am police-imposed parking restriction during the annual Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, vexatious to nightlife patrons of Hillcrest and considered by many to be unnecessary, unfair and deceptive in nature, is finally coming to an end in Hillcrest.

The Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Marathon and 1/2 Marathon to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, scheduled for Sunday, June 3, recently released information on race route street closures and parking restrictions on its website.
