RuPaul previews new season of "Drag Race," which returns Jan. 28

Cher developing TV series for Logo

Cher is heading back to the small screen.

The music legend, who last starred on "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour"40 years ago, is working on a TV pilot. The gay icon is in development with Logo, an LGBT-centric cable channel, on a period drama, set in 1960s Hollywood.

Cher is working with veteran TV writer Ron Zimmerman on the show and while she is currently attached as writer, she may also co-star.

VIDEO: Sharon Needles crowned "America's Next Drag Superstar"

SAN DIEGO – West Coast fans who had the patience to ignore national news sites and social media that shared the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” after it aired on the East Coast three hours earlier seemed pleased with RuPaul’s crowning of Sharon Needles as “America’s Next Drag Superstar.”

Native San Diego contestant Chad Michaels, who remains a fan favorite, was thought by many to be the natural winner, because of his style and look, performance ability, experience, and class on and off stage.

It Gets Better Project special to air tonight on MTV and Logo networks

The "It Gets Better Project" is coming to a television near you, tonight, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 8 pm (PST).

Dan Savage started the "It Gets Better Project" in September of 2010, after a rash of LGBT teen suicides due to bullying began to rock the nation.

He and his partner, Terry Miller, created a single video that quickly grew to over 40,000 videos. The videos have been uploaded from all over the world, and have received over 50 million views overall.

SAN DIEGO -- Throngs of "RuPaul's Drag Race" fans and others are expected to head to Urban Mo's Bar & Grill to cheer on local personality Chad Michaels, who is a contestant on the fourth season of the show that premiers tonight.

Urban Mo's has been selected by LOGO TV as an official viewing party location and will air episodes of the show every Monday starting at 9 pm, with sound and no commercials on the big screens and TVs throughout the bar.
