"When We Were Outlaws" is a riveting, fast-paced piece of literature that takes place in the early to mid 1970's.

This true story weaves in and out of a lighting-fast, radical time.

It goes from Angela Davis, to Patty Hearst, radical lesbians, the Weather Underground and a Nazi Party hell bent on blowing up any progressive group within its site.

The Los Angeles Gay & Lebian Center is the nation's largest provider of LGBT-specific domestic violence services, including counseling, legal assistance and a court-approved batterers'-intervention program.

Offering services that are specifically tailored to LGBT people is important because, although the core of the problem is the same, there are many ways in which LGBT domestic violence is different than domestic violence among straight couples.

LOS ANGELES -- Chaz Bono has been known most of his life as Chastity Bono; many of us first got to know Chastity as the cherubic, adorable little girl in frilly dresses, paraded out at the very end of every Sonny and Cher show during the mid 70's.

Through the media, the world then followed Chastity after her parents divorce, her travels growing up with her superstar mother, through her very public outing as a lesbian, her mother's surprising reaction, and her father's very tragic death.
