Look Better Naked: From your skin to your bones

Want to be wrinkle free and fabulous in your 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond? It starts now!

Taking care of your skin

Protect your skin with a full-spectrum (UVA/UVB- blocking) sunscreen applied daily. If your skin is acne-prone, look for an oil-free zinc oxide sunscreen, as zinc is anti-bacterial and can help prevent a breakout.

Our skin is our largest organ and it can absorb what is applied such as lotions, perfumes and cosmetics. As doctors we use skin to deliver medications such as testosterone, so that is an indication of how great our skin absorbs topical applications.

Look Better Naked: Platelet Rich Plasma therapy comes to the rescue!

You’re at the gym and you are finishing your last rep of legs at an enviable weight ... you are making eyes with the hottie across the gym. Then you stand and your achy knees and sore low back cause you to move as if you were 30 years older -- not very vivacious and sexy.

Or, even worse: The pain of your shoulder, knee, hip or ankle causes you to minimize or even STOP your workouts altogether. Dang those injuries preventing us from looking better naked!

So what is a self-respecting naked-hopeful to do in a situation like this?

Look Better Naked: The importance of taking care of your prostate

Looking sexy is all about feeling sexy inside and out. One sexy male gland of anatomy that doesn’t get enough attention is the all-important prostate.

What is the prostate? The prostate is spongy gland about the size of a walnut that surrounds the neck of the male bladder and urethra.

During the male orgasm, the prostate gets your “boys” or sperm ready by secreting a slightly alkaline fluid, which decreases the acidity of the seminal fluid and secretes PSA or Prostate Specific Antigen that helps loosen up semen to allow the sperm to reach the female egg in intercourse.
