Valentine’s Day is here, or as some like to call it, Singles Awareness Day. So, in honor of this romantic holiday, I've compiled a little guide to some of the many Valentine themed event going on around the gayborhood today:

3 pm: Valentine’s Day Dinner at the Range - “Wanna take the boo out for Valentine's or just treat yourself cuz you deserve it? Chef Jacob has whipped up something special.”

SAN DIEGO – Debby Holiday, a popular rock, soul and dance-music singer, will take the stage for a special performance this Saturday at Michael Mack’s “Montage Reunion” party at Spin Nightclub.

The event, which will take place in the space that once housed Club Montage, is being organized to “bring back the magic” of the legendary night spot.

Los Angeles native Holiday, who has performed in San Diego several times, says that there is something special about this city that keeps bringing her back – noting that it was the second place she ever performed live in.

It's the endless cycle of life: One thing dies, while at the same time something else is reborn. Eden closed last week, so right on cue, regular gay nights are returning to Spin!

Be sure and mark your calendar for Feb. 11, 2012, as that’s the date for the next Montage Reunion at Spin Nightclub.

The previous two reunions were nights to remember, and this upcoming third one promises to be the best yet. Michael Mack tells me that he has already booked Masterbeat DJ Brett Henrichsen to spin the night, so it's looks like we're in for quite a party.
