LOS ANGELES — Eric Stonestreet and ABC’s “Modern Family” made Emmy night look easy, capturing awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor and Best Comedy series, respectively, at the annual awards ceremony at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Stonestreet captured his second Emmy for his character Cameron Tucker, the gay stay-at-home dad in the ensemble comedy, which has become televison’s highest rated sitcom. His first Emmy for his portrayal of the role was in 2010.
