Jim Winsor’s Out & About: Checking in and getting Mo money

For those of you out there with the Facebook app on your smartphone, Baja Betty's, Gossip Grill and Urban Mo's just began a lucrative new "Check In, Cash Out" promotion.

Here’s how it works: Whenever you "check in" to one of those locations on your phone using Facebook Places, you'll see a "deal" there on your screen. And the deal is, you show your phone to the host after checking in, and he or she will give you a poker chip-like token worth $1 off at any of the three venues.
