Life with Benny: Honoring a true hero

So many people are quietly working to make the world a better place, and we just don't thank them enough. Do you remember Haileigh and Rebeca?

They’re the lesbian couple whose San Carlos classmates voted them homecoming king and queen one whirlwind weekend in October, eliciting raves and rebukes, happiness and hate, locally and nationwide.

Somehow, we got into a little more "mischief" than we had planned, and ended up having oral sex. It was the first time I had ever experienced anything like that, and it was thrilling and nerve-wracking all at the same time.
