SATURDAY: Rich's to be transformed into a jungle paradise

SAN DIEGO -- Welcome to the Jungle! Rich's and SDPIX will present one of their most popular theme parties - "The Jungle" - this Saturday night starting at 10.

Rich's will be turned into a jungle paradise for the party, which will be an evening to remember, complete with jungle decor throughout the venue, jungle-themed performances, jungle go-go boys, and tribal music by DJ Taj and DJ Marcel. And on top of all that ... after hours until 4am!

Guests are encouraged to wear jungle-themed costumes.

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego police are investigating a string of armed robberies Monday targeting pedestrians.

The first two happened in City Heights around 11 pm Sunday. One was reported on El Cajon Boulevard, while the other happened at 37th Street and Polk Avenue.

The third robbery happened on the sidewalk near Rich's Nightclub in Hillcrest. The fourth robbery was at 1st and Robinson Avenue, also in Hillcrest.

SAN DIEGO -- The hottest of the hot will shake their booties on stage tonight at Rich's for the Mischief GoGo Boy Finals contest, presented by SDPIX.

The Wednesday evening event has become a popular stop on the weekly nightlife circuit, as revelers celebrate "Hump Day." Hosted by popular local entertainer Bianca, the event includes music, dancing, drink specials, and the contest.

Tonight's finals edition of the GoGo Boy contest will provide over $1,000 in prizes to the winner.

Doors open at 10 pm and there is no cover charge all night long.

SAN DIEGO -- Rich's WTF parties have become one of the most popular events on the nightclub's calendar mostly because they keep getting more and more outrageous and over the top.

Tonight's "GFab WTF" party - presented by San Diego Pix - will be no exception and the club has outdone itself this time by inviting YouTube sensation Sweet Brown to be the evening's guest host.

FRIDAY: Second Class Citizens campaign to host photo shoot at Rich's | VIDEO

SAN DIEGO -- The Second Class Citizens Campaign is coming to San Diego with a stop at Rich's nightclub on Friday, March 15.

Ryan James Yezak, project director, is working on creating a documentary that focuses on LGBT individuals in the United States being treated like second class citizens.

Over 200 photos have already been taken and Yezak hopes to capture many more at Friday's photo shoot and other planned stops.

"Come pose and declare to the world that you are NOT a second class citizen," Yezak wrote in a Facebook event post.

Rich's in Hillcrest joins in "Harlem Shake" craze | VIDEO

SAN DIEGO -- Popular Hillcrest nightclub Rich's has joined in the "Harlem Shake" craze, which has taken Social Media by storm over the last couple of weeks.

Staff of the nightclub created their own video version of the dance, which features some of the club's go-go dancers, staff and friends letting loose in a backyard pool.
