SATURDAY: SDPIX presents Peep Show at 1202

SAN DIEGO -- 1202 Nightclub will be the sexiest place to be in town on Saturday night as SDPIX presents "Peep Show."

The evening will include sexy burlesque boys and girls who will entertain patrons all night long, as well as decor and vignettes that will turn the space into a wonderland of seductiveness. DJ Dawna Montell will provide the music.

SDPIX staff will be on hand throughout the night handing out free VIP memberships.

Those who already have an SDPIX VIP membership will receive no cover before midnight.

On Saturday, June 15, the Hillcrest community will host the third annual Amazing High Heel Race, in which all money raised goes to pay for the Hillcrest Pride Flag that was installed last summer, including paying down the installation costs, the continued maintenance of the flag and for the future monument project at the flag's base.

The flag has quickly become a symbol of Hillcrest and our community and it is our duty to make sure it continues to fly proud for generations to come.

LONG BEACH, Calif. -- The Southern California LGBT Pride season has begun! With its third weekend in May calendar placement, the Long Beach LGBT Pride celebration is the first of many pride events that take place throughout the region throughout the summer months.

This year, Long Beach Pride celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Thousands of revelers are expected to descend upon Downtown Long Beach tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday for the festivities, which include a festival, parties, and LGBT pride parade.

Thousands violently protest in Georgia over gay rights rally

TBILISI, Georgia -- Thousands of Georgians have protested in the capital Tbilisi against a gay rights rally being held to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.

They broke through police barricades and carried stinging nettles with which to beat activists. Some posters read: "We don't need Sodom and Gomorrah".

Police were forced to bus the 50 or so activists out of the city center to avoid further violence.

Several people, including a journalist and a police officer, were injured.

Kathy Griffin hosts celebrity charity event benefiting L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Gay icon Kathy Griffin will host the annual “An Evening With Women” this weekend.

The evening will feature performances by rock legend Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabbath, Grammy-nominated Natasha Bedingfield ("Pocketful of Sunshine," "Unwritten") and singer/songwriter Sia ("Titanium").
