WARSAW, Poland – Former Polish president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Walesa, accused of homophobia after saying that gay MPs should sit in the back of Parliament, will not be prosecuted on a hate crime charge.

SEDONA, Ariz. – Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa and the adjacent Sedona Golf Resort are set to host the first LGBT Red Rock Golf Classic benefiting Camp Soaring Eagle and Sedona Pride.

The golf tournament will run throughout the weekend of May 4-6. The entry fee is $125 per player and includes green fee, cart fee, complimentary practice balls, goody bag and lunch following play.

FRANKFORT, Ky. — LGBT advocates and civil rights groups have joined with the American Civil Liberities Union (ACLU) in calling on Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear to veto a religious freedom bill approved in the state Senate last week.

Critics charge that the bill (HB 279) would be used to discriminate against the state’s LGBT community and other minorities.
