"Hot Guys Dancing" comes to Diversionary Cabaret from Jan. 11-13

SAN DIEGO -- Six noted choreographers will be showcased in "Hot Guys Dancing," a new dance series presented at Diversionary Cabaret.

Yes, there are guys, and yes, they are hot, and yes, they will be dancing up a storm from January 11-13, Friday and Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday at 2 pm.

This new dance series is conceived and directed by Michael Mizerany and will feature a restaging of his Lester Horton Award-winning solo "Tin Soldier," performed by Malashock Dance's Justin Viernes.

France’s first baby of 2013 born to lesbian couple

A woman in a lesbian relationship has given birth to the first baby of the year in France.

The baby boy, named Sacha, was born on the morning of New Year’s Day between midnight and a minute past midnight at the Moulins Hospital Centre.

His birth mother Maude has been in a PACS civil union with her partner Delphine since 2010, according to France TV.

Sacha, measuring 48.5 cm long and weighing 2.92 kilograms, was conceived through artificial insemination.
