A Harvard professor has apologized for anti-gay remarks when he said famed British economist John Maynard Keynes‘ philosophy was flawed and suggested he didn’t care about future generations because he was gay and didn’t have children.

Realtor fired after distributing anti-gay flyer promoting "traditional" families

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — A Canadian real estate agent who distributed anti-gay marketing flyers promoting “traditional” families as “best for the future of the kids” has been terminated, according to his employer.

Andrew Ciastek, a sales representative for RE/MAX, was terminated for “poor judgment on his personal marketing,” said Christine Martysiewicz, director of internal and public relations for RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada.

SAN DIEGO -- The annual Equality Awards, presented by Equality California (EQCA), will be held in San Diego on Saturday, June 1 from 6-11 pm, honoring San Diego County Supervisor Dave Roberts.

The event will include a reception, dinner and awards, and an after-party. California Assembly Majority Leader Toni Atkins will be the special guest, and the evening's host will be Michael Chen of ABC 10. USC constitutional law expert professor David Cruz will provide an update on the pending U.S. Supreme Court decisions during the event.

"Face The Nation" looks at coming out in pro sports

“Face The Nation” devoted half its hour-long program on CBS on Sunday to discuss how professional sports are changing as diversity and tolerance are put to the test by gay athletes' coming out.

One segment featured Billie Jean King and Martina Navratilova, tennis legends who came out years ago and paved the way for male athletes.
