SDPIX presents "The Wig Party" TONIGHT at Eden

SAN DIEGO -- Bigger is always better - especially when it comes to hair. Customers at Eden tonight are encouraged to wear their best wigs tonight, for the nightclub's first ever "Wig Party," presented by SDPIX.

The event, which will include music by DJ Schoeny, will include a wig contest with over $1,000 in cash and prizes for the best entries. Participants can wear any type of wig, the only requirement is that the hair on the contestants head does not belong to them.

Free SDPIX memberships will also be available throughout the night.

William Zakrajshek (aka DJ Will Z) is once again organizing a gay field trip to the San Diego County Fair at the Del Mar Fairgrounds this year.

According to a Facebook page, the 2nd Annual Unofficial Gay Days at the Del Mar Fair is scheduled for this Sunday, from 2 to 11 pm.

VIDEO: Rich's and SDPIX to host Active Duty Party with after-hours Saturday

SAN DIEGO -- Rich's most popular party, Active Duty, is back and this time the club will stay open for after-hours.

Presented by SDPIX, the event will include music by DJ Nikno, hot military-themed go-go dancers, and military decor throughout the nightclub. The first 500 people through the door will receive free Active Duty dog tags and there will be other surprises throughout the night.

Eden to light up its new LED screens at "Friday Night Lights" event

SAN DIEGO -- Eden Nightclub will kick off Memorial Day weekend in a big way with the introduction of its new Friday night party, "Friday Night Lights" on May 25.

Presented by SDPIX, the event will feature world renowned gay circuit DJ Manny Lehman.

Party-goers this Friday night will also have the opportunity to be the first to experience Eden's newly installed LED light screens that will take the club's dance floor area to a new level.

Luis Perez is a popular local DJ who has built a strong following, leading him to have regular gigs at local nightspots such as Rich's and Eden. Recently finding a new opportunity on the East Coast, Perez and his partner will start a new chapter in their lives in New York City, moving there in May. Perez celebrated his departure this past weekend with one of his final local appearances at Rich's Dirty Pop on Friday, and a celebration with friends at Rich's on Saturday.
